Scarlett Johansson knows she's a Hollywood celebrity, but that doesn't mean she thinks that should forfeit her right to privacy.
The 26-year-old Iron Man 2 actress tells CNN that the nude pictures of her that a hacker leaked online Sept. 15 are really none of anyone's business.
"Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy," she says in the interview, according to Reuters. "If that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong."
After the racy photos of her were leaked, Johansson reportedly enlisted help from the FBI to investigate the invasion of privacy. The ongoing case involves more than 50 alleged incidences of hacked celebrity email accounts and phone numbers. Law enforcement officials have yet to reveal any possible perpetrators.
Even though she's been acting professionally since she was in grade school, Johansson says that life in the spotlight still takes some getting used to on a daily basis.
"It's an adjustment, but I think there are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down and say, 'Oh wait, I'm taking it back.'"
